Pre-Startup Checklist

To ensure continued satisfactory operation, perform the following checks or inspections before each startup.

• Ensure the generator is level.

• Check the remaining operating hours before the next service is due.

• Ensure that the generator is properly grounded / earthed with an approved grounding electrode as per Electrical Code requirements and site conditions.

Downstream devices should be bonded to the System Bond connector located next to the System Ground connector.

• Ensure that all generator circuit breakers are turned off.

• Make all required electrical connections between the required loads and the generator connection panel.

• Ensure that all loads connected to the generator are turned off.
